Moollon's custom made Pedal Board for Michael Thompson was newly introduced at Michael Thompson and
Buzz feiten Live Show at the Blue Note in Tokyo, Japan.
This pedal board is made of a total of 10 pedals including Chorus, Compressor, Fuzz 14, Lotus Octah,
Signal Boost, Tremolo, Vintage Wah(True bypass), AB Box, Custom Shop Over Drive
(improved from original version) and our custom made power supply.
Let's check out Michaels's pedal board signal route.
We made this pedal board as our original signal route setting (see photo above) and he changed it a little bit
(see photo below) at his actual performance. The Volume Pedal replaced the Wah position
because Michael didn't use Wah in Tokyo.
Let's examine the route in more detail. The output signal from the A/B Box is connected to the tuner and pedals
(A->pedals, B->TU-12). As you see from the picture, it's a typical Jimi Hendrix style setting.
Michael really enjoyed Fuzz 14 during his rehearsal and he played with it many times in actual performance.
He carefully controlled Fuzz sound with guitar volume to create a nice, subtle tone.
This signal flows to the Buffer Age Series Compressor and this is where the Active Cable starts.
Michael marveled at the cable, like many other musicians using it. However, we regret that we could not apply
input passive and output active cables to the second board since we didn't have enough surplus at that time.
We positioned the compressor before the overdrive as is commonly found in the general LA guitar scene -
and it connected to the easily-switchable Custom O/D. Following is the signal boost,
which controls the volume for intro or solo play.
The next connection is to the chorus pedal and tremolo. Michael loved the
chorus pedal and he played a solo for over 5 minutes with this pedal

The next connection to tremolo is connected to the second board with Diamond Drive, Z Vex"s Box of rock,
Xotic modified Arion Chorus, Ibanez Phaser, Demeter Tremulator, Maxon Flanger, Line 6 Delay,
Frampton Amp Switcher.

Although Michael said he wasn't accustomed to new pedals,
he played an extraordinary sound at Tokyo. We made the pedal
board for him in excitement with tension, and he satisfied
us with a great sound.
Michael says he meets new sounds every time he plays
looking forward to how he will be changing
his sounds.
